MY NAME IS MUSIC are a mixed doubles from Vienna who created their very special Indie-Style.

After two albums which were released within one year („Revolution“ - 2010 and „We are terrorists“ - 2011) and over 100 concerts in Austria and abroad, the mixed double from Vienna climbed up to the first row of the strong Austrian music scene and is now touring with their new Album “Super Acceleration”.

Rebelliously and unconditionally they take all the elements of rock, blues, funk and electro apart and build a new cool Indie sound which “sends an impetus to limbs, hips and `the nodding dog mechanism´” (Musicreviews / Germany)

Sat Bisla, who already pushed bands like Wolfmother, Keane, Ting Tings or The Editors, discovered the duo and featured their songs in his international radio show “Passport Approved“, which can be heard all over the world, from LA to New York, from Germany to Australia and from Japan to New Zealand.

Berlin radio Fritz, Hamburg Radio N-Joy, Prague Radio One and Austria’s iconic channel FM4 are supporting MY NAME IS MUSIC. They were FM4 Soundpark band of the month May 2013, the song “Black Summer” managed to climb the Top Ten of the FM4 Charts, “This Is Your Live” #12. In Britain’s NM-Charts “Smooth Revolution” went up to 30 in the first week and “Pop Is Dead” was on #8 of London King B´s Charts. Their extraordinary videos rotate on music television channels like Tape TV, MTV, VIVA and GOTV.

Also on stage the duo has established a reputation for being sexy, fancy, funny and intoxicating, not only in matters of playing their drums. Their concert list is long and impressive. MNIM played in the hottest clubs, like the White Trash in Berlin, the Molotow and Hafenklang in Hamburg, the legendary Rock Cafe in Prague or the Dunaj in Bratislava. They were also invented to numerous festivals like the Reeperbahn Festival, Berlin Music Week, Nürnberg.Pop, United Islands Festival in Prague, Donauinsel Festival in Vienna and they supported bands like We Have Band/UK, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour/DK, Haight Ashbury/UK, Shonen Knife/JP or Belleruche/UK.
